Product Review: Airbrush Legs

I recently received the Airbrush VoxBox from Influenster to test and review. Here's my opinion of this product.

When I first received Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs and saw that it was a leg makeup, I was pretty skeptical and unsure how I felt about it. Even so, I tried it out. The pictures of my legs (one with the makeup and one without) look great, but I felt it had a little bit of an orange tint to it in person.
It was super easy to apply and would be great for a last minute event that you want your legs to look great at. It also washed off really easy in the shower, which is a plus. But this product wasn't for me. I would rather have something that lasts longer, instead of washing right off and having to reapply the next day. So, for a one day, last minute event -- perfect! If you want something that lasts weeks or even days -- not the product you want. #AirbrushPerfectLegs
Sally Hansen also has an Airbrush Sun Gradual Tanning Lotion that I really want to try out. I think this product would be more like something I would use.

Here's the links to check out both Sally Hansen and Influenster on Facebook!

Sweating For The Wedding

We are 8 months out from the wedding and it is time to tone up, lose a few pounds, and work towards looking perfect for the big day. I have found a couple workouts online and I plan to use them over the next 8 months. Each week, I will check in and give an update on what I've been doing. I think this is the best way to hold myself accountable. I just started Thursday, so here's a summary of my first few days:

Day 1: 8/20 - 21-Day Arm Challenge: Day 1
Day 2: 8/21 - Rounds 1 & 2 of the 7 Rounds Workout
I am taking this workout slow and easing myself into doing all 7 rounds at one time (I'm so out of shape, it's sad)
Day 3: 8/22 - 21-Day Arms: Day 3

Day 4: 8/23 - Rounds 3 & 4 of the 7 Rounds Workout

I've really been feeling the burn and I LOVE it! Now to get my eating habits under control and start eating healthier as well.

Oh Hey, Friday: Upcoming Events

There are so many things coming up that I'm really looking forward to and SO excited about. I wanted to take today to list five that I'm the most anxious about:

ONE. We're attending a Bridal Expo tonight! I convinced KC to go with me (it wasn't hard since grooms get in for free). I haven't been to one yet, but if it's anything like a runner's expo, I'm going to LOVE it! I've heard nothing but good things.
TWO. My best friend and Matron of Honor, Katie and her husband are coming for another visit in 22 days!! I can't wait for them to get here. It's just a weekend trip to get some wedding planning/things done. I love having a friend who will my a trip across the country for me!

THREE. That brings me to....our engagement picture session! The main reason Katie is coming to visit is because she will be taking our engagement pictures for us. After looking at how much engagement photographers are around here, we had decided we weren't going to get any done, but Katie to the rescue. I'm so glad she agreed to do it and fly all the way here just for that. Best MOH award for sure! Now to figure out what we should wear...
We'll be going to Red Rock Canyon for one of our photo locations
FOUR. The Book of Mormon. I've been wanting to see this play for the last 2-3 years and we are finally going to see it in September! I've had these tickets since early June. I made sure to buy them as soon as they were available because last year they sold out before I got a chance to get some. Beyond excited for this show!

FIVE. My trip to Indiana for more wedding planning. I made my to-do list for things I have to do when I'm in Indiana, and boy is it long! I have to meet with the officiant, photographer, get alterations, pick out the bridesmaid dresses, work on decorations, etc. I won't be back in Indiana until the week of the wedding, so I have to get most of it done now. Oh, and my bridal shower will be in November as well. So much fun to be had. I can't wait!

What are you looking forward to?

M.I.A.

I swear I'm still alive...barely. Things have been crazy around here lately. I mean, it's not like I'm planning a wedding or anything!
Actually, I've been slacking in that department. I feel like work is taking all my mental strength lately. If I'm not working, I'm usually sleeping or close to it. I've been unusually drained the last couple of weeks. I blame it on KC's new work schedule. He has to get up at 4:30 every morning, which means I'm being woken up as well. That little disruption in sleep has major consequences. Thankfully, his schedule will go back to normal in a couple weeks!

I've also been working with my MOH, Katie, planning a time for her and her husband to come visit again! She's going to take our engagement pictures for us. Engagement photographers are so expensive here, so we weren't going to get any done. Then I remembered that ages ago, Katie took my senior pictures and *BAM*, the plan snowballed from there. They get here in 29 days! I'm so excited!! We'll get to work on wedding planning related things as well.
Anyway, I'm going to try to stay on top of this, but no promises. My brain is slowly turning into mush with all these to-do lists that keep piling up!
