Wedding Wednesday: All About the Bride

Have I mentioned how in love I am with our wedding photos!? They all turned out so great that I struggle picking just a few to post. This week is all about the bride....ME! My veil was my favorite part of my entire attire. It just felt so bride-y. I loved it. LOL

I will admit that I forgot to put on my necklace before we took pictures, but oh well, I don't normally wear jewelry anyway. Look how great they are:

A Night in Idaho

Last Friday, we had a date night and went to see Idaho! The Comedy Musical at The Smith Center. This is a new play making it's first appearance here in Vegas. As soon as I heard about it, I got us tickets...back in February! Haha.

It was totally worth it. HILARIOUS!! I loved every second of it and so did KC. I would go see it again in a heartbeat. We laughed and laughed and laughed. I've drug KC to 5 or 6 shows now and this one has become my most favorite. I'm so thankful KC loves going to see shows with me.

The giant spud wasn't real. I touched it and it was concrete.

What's your favorite show??

Our 4th of July Recap

Holidays are different when you're not around family. It's just KC and I, so it's really just like any other day except we have the day off work. We always try to make the most of it though!

This year we relaxed for most of the day; slept in then watched movies & Netflix. I knew I wanted to see fireworks so I looked up where we could see some. I found two places; One, a park about 15 minutes away & two, at the ballpark following a baseball game. We'd been talking about wanting to go watch the Las Vegas 51's play, so I knew right away which place we needed to go to. I bought tickets to the game right away.
The game was fun and after the sun went down, the weather/temperature was perfect! We really enjoyed the game and even got some yummy nachos served in a baseball helmet. They were awesome. The 51's even won the game!
Immediately following the game, was the most amazing fireworks show. It was so close to us and super loud, but I loved it. They were basically right above us. Beautiful.

Wedding Wednesday: Our First Look

Catch up here & here.

I knew I wanted to do a first look before we even got engaged. My MOH had told me the one thing she would have changed about her own wedding would be to do a first look and take pictures together before the ceremony. That's what we did. I didn't want our guests to have to wait on us to take all the pictures we wanted before joining them at the reception. We wanted to get to the party as soon as possible. We took 2 hours before the ceremony to do our first look and all the other pictures of us and our bridal party.

The pictures from our first look are among my most favorite of our wedding pictures. Here are a few of them:

Product Review: TRESemme Reverse Wash

I received the TRESemme vox box from Influenster about a month ago. I'd been wanting to try the reverse wash since I'd seen it on TV, so this came at the perfect time. I was so excited to give it a try and #ReverseYourRoutine.
I was a little disappointment when I opened the box and saw that the conditioner bottle was quite a bit smaller than the shampoo bottle. If you're like me, you go thru condition so much faster than shampoo. I was instantly worried that I'd run out of conditioner before shampoo.

I loved the bottle though. The pump makes it so easy to dispense in the shower and helps prevent getting too much. I love it! The bottle recommends using 2-3 pumps, but I use more like 6-7 (which still doesn't seem like enough). I learned that a little goes a long way. This conditioner makes my hair silky smooth almost immediately!
The shampoo smells amazing. It also lathers really well too. Again, a little goes a long way with this shampoo. I really liked it. After using both products together, and drying, my hair does feel lighter than it does with other products I've used. It's soft and easy to brush without tangles.
Overall, I love how my hair feels after using these products and I love the long lasting scent. However, these products aren't good for volume and with my fine, thin, oily hair, I need all the help with volume that I can get. The bottles say "Beauty-Full Volume" but I just didn't see it.

"I received these products free from Influenster for testing purposes"
