Wedding Wednesday: 2 Months!

Yesterday marked 2 months until we say I do! I can't believe it's so close already. In 2 months, I'll be waking up a married woman. How crazy is that!?
Surprisingly I've been pretty on top of things. Planning a wedding long distance forces you to get things done earlier than normal. Here's our 2 month to-do list. There's not much left to do, but hopefully this will help keep me on track to get everything finished!

  • Buy wedding party and parents' gifts
  • Decide on ceremony music
  • Make a few more decoration signs
  • Finalize the menu
  • Book a rental car
  • Pack our bags -- Don't forget the rings!
Once we get to Indiana, there's a whole other list of things we have to be sure to do:
  • Get marriage license
  • Meet with our officiant
  • Decorate barn and pole tent
  • Bachelorette & Bachelor parties
  • Get mani-pedis
  • Rehearsal & rehearsal dinner
  • GET MARRIED!
If you like these cute mustache and lips pictures, create your own here.

21 Questions

I saw this over on Nikki’s blog the other day and wanted to join in on the fun and share more about myself.
  1. Are you named after anyone? I'm not named after anyone per-say, but my dad did think Molly Ringwald was good looking at the time and my mom liked the name.
  2. When was the last time you cried? A few weeks ago when I watched the Parenthood finale. So sad. I miss that show so much!
  3. Do you have kids? Nope, not even a fur-baby, but I really want a cat. Hopefully we'll get one soon!
  4. If you were another person would you be a friend of yourself? Of course! I'm fun, nice and I get along with everyone.
  5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Not as much as I once did, but still enough to drive KC crazy sometimes.
  6. Will you ever bungee-jump? Probably not. I don't think I'd be able to actually jump -- unless someone pushed me. I love skydiving though, so maybe it's about the same...
  7. What’s your favorite cereal? Captain Crunch. Any variety. With or without milk, morning or night, it doesn't really matter!
  8. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their appearance is hard to not notice first, but then whether or not they are a nice person.
  9. What’s your eye color? Blue.
  10. Scary movie or happy ending? Definitely happy endings. I can't do scary movies anymore. I'm a big fat chicken.
  11. Favorite smells? Clean linen, fresh out of the dryer laundry, Mongolian food, cinnamon, and lavender.
  12. Computer or television? Is phone an option? Haha. I'd say TV. We watch a lot of Netflix and I gotta watch The Bachelor and Little Women every week.
  13. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Not going to lie, I just had to use Google maps to see which was further. Vancouver, Canada. Loved it and can't wait to go back!
  14. Do you have any special talents? I can find the best deals on anything, anywhere. Does that count as a talent?
  15. Where were you born? Good Ol' Indiana
  16. What are your hobbies? Reading, hiking, blogging, coloring, cross-stitching.
  17. Summer or Winter? I would chose Spring, but since that's not an option I'll go with Winter. Because Las Vegas winters are way better than the hot, hot, hot summers.
  18. Do you have any pets? Nope. Not yet.
  19. Favorite movie? Too many to list, but here's a few: I Robot, A Cinderella Story, All the Fast and Furious movies, Meet the Millers, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, etc.
  20. Do you have any siblings? Yes, 3; an older sister, an older brother and a "little" brother. I love them all.
  21. What do you want to be when you grow up? A wonderful wife and amazing mother...one day :)

A Great Day For Biking

Work has kept me super busy and plenty stressed the last few weeks. So, a couple weekends ago, KC decided to take me to Springs Preserve for a relaxing day in the surprisingly nice weather.

We checked out the Nevada State Museum and then rented bicycles to ride the trails. It was so much fun! I can't wait to go back.

Wedding Wednesday: Invitations

We mailed invitations out three weeks ago! By now everyone should have received them, SO.... I get to share them with all of you!

Just like our Save The Dates, the invites were completely DIY! I sent my Matron of Honor examples and ideas of what I was thinking and she designed everything --- the invite itself, the RSVP postcards, and the gift insert. We printed and assembled everything during my trip to Indiana back in November. Then I brought them all home with me to wait until it was time to mail them to everybody. I love how they turned out. Sweet, simple, and to the point -- just like me!

Finished product!
