A Fantastic Visit

Our extended weekend/vacation with Katie and Travis was a huge success! We had the best time and I crammed a TON of things into those 3 days. We were all exhausted by the last day, but it was totally worth it! I hated taking them back to the airport and just wanted them to stay forever. It was so nice having my best friend around.

After the first day and talking so much, I almost lost my voice, no joke. Cough and throat drops came to the rescue. We did so many fun things including some KC and I hadn't even done yet. My favorite was the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon. Although, I can't forget the helicopter ride Kate booked for the four of us as soon as she knew they were coming for sure!

           

Her and Travis took two helicopter rides on their honeymoon and because they loved it so much, she wanted to do it again in Vegas. Since I've never been in a helicopter, I was all for it and so excited! The ride was amazing and we absolutely loved it, but what happened afterward took the cake.... KC proposed!! It was beyond perfect and I couldn't have dreamed a better proposal (story to come soon). I still can't believe it, but I'M ENGAGED!!

The Time Has Come

The weekend I've been waiting for since January is finally here!! My best friend, Katie, and her husband, Travis, fly in early Thursday morning!! I can't wait. I'm so excited to show them around and just hang out with a girlfriend. It's been far too long since I've been able to do that. (Yes, I really need to find some friends in Vegas) We are going to have an absolute blast. This will be their first flight as well, so I'm anxious to see how they like it. Flying is amazing!

Product Review: Beauty Products

I recently received a couple of products from Influenster to test out. This time I tried Carefree Acti-fresh Liners and Neutrogena Naturals.

I was very surprised by how thin and discreet these pantiliners were. I love that you can't feel them or tell you're wearing them. They're small, but get the job done very well. I feel fresh all day using Carefree Acti-fresh Liners. #FreshIsFierce

Neutrogena Naturals wipes' scent is so refreshing and just amazing. Unlike some face wipes, I wasn't afraid of putting it on my face due to the smell. I absolutely love knowing there aren't any harsh chemicals and that I'm making a small difference in the world by saving water. My face feels amazing and so fresh and clean after using the wipes. I like that I'm not left with the sticky/oily shine that some other brands leave. Neutrogena is also having a #WipeForWater challenge. Go pledge to help save water. I did!

The End Is Near!

This week is hell week at work. With the tax deadline TOMORROW, our office has been extremely busy since last Thursday!! Phones are ringing off the hook and tax returns are flying out of the office. I've been putting in tons of overtime and it's finally paying off and the end is near! This is also the reason why I've been MIA this month. :)

Thinking about our weekend getaway this Friday, is the only thing getting me through this week! I hope you all have a great week with much less stress than me!

Missing Football Season

I always hate when the NFL season comes to an end. For the first few weeks after, I find myself lost on Sundays, trying to figure out what to do with my extra time.

Thankfully, KC introduced me to the Arena Football League over the last week and it's amazing! We've gone to two Las Vegas Outlaws games and I had an absolute blast at both. It's nice to have something to hold me over until the NFL season starts again. :)
