Hot Air Balloon Festival

Last weekend, we also checked out the Hot Air Balloon Festival on the other side of town. I saw an ad for it in a weekly paper and knew we HAD to go. I've been dying to take a hot air balloon ride, so going to look at them is enough to hold me over until we can.

We went for the glow show. They set up 4 balloons and lit up the night sky (on the ground). It was really cool! I always knew they were really big, but standing right next to them really made them look huge. We felt small. I can't wait to go up in one!

Wedding Wednesday: Ceremony Part 1

After a very busy few weeks, it's time to resume my wedding recaps. My posts are backing up, but I promise to get to our honeymoon as soon as possible! {It was fabulous, btw} This week I'm recapping our ceremony. I want to share so many pictures that I'm splitting this topic into two posts.

When we first started wedding planning we both knew we wanted a ceremony that was short, sweet and to the point. And that's exactly what we did. When I sat down to write out our ceremony wording, I made sure to add all the essentials and only added a few extras. I didn't time it, but there's no way it was longer than 20 minutes and it was PERFECT!

River Flows In You by Yiruma played as the pastor, boys and my girls walked in and to their spots. Once my MOH was in her spot, the music faded and switched to my song, Romantic Wedding March by Miranda Wong. Then the pastor began our ceremony.

McKee Ranch

This weekend we checked out McKee Ranch here in town. They have a pumpkin patch, hayride, corn maze, and farm animals/petting zoo. It looked like a lot of fun and it did NOT disappoint!

Update!

Things have been crazy busy this last month. With getting things ready for our honeymoon to being on our honeymoon and then adjusting back to reality. I have tons of Wedding Wednesday posts and recaps from our honeymoon. I promise to get back on top of this blog!
