Currently...

I haven't done a currently post since before we were married. So let's catch up:

Loving: Football season is back!

Eating: Salad in a jar. Thank you Pinterest!
Drinking: Honeycrisp Apple Juice. KC brought some home from work. Amazing!

Watching: Gilmore Girls. I'm not sure how I made it this long in life without watching this show!

Going: To Phoenix tomorrow for work.

Texting: KC funny selfies while he's at work all night. (I hate second shift)
Reading: The Bible. Trying to finish it in a year.

Playing: Basketball at the park. I'm so happy the weather is finally cooling down. Still in the 90's though.
Buying: Honeymoon swimwear! Only 16 more days!!

Pinning: Hair styles and cuts. I've been contemplating whether or not I should cut my hair...

Working On: Our wedding photobook. I can't wait to add it to our collection!
Planning: Honeymoon activities. I can't decide if we should venture out or just spend our time relaxing at the resort.

Visiting: St. George, Utah. We road tripped it to Utah two weekends ago. Read about it here

What have you been up to currently?

Wedding Wednesday: Bride & Groom Part 1

Sorry I missed last week. Having Monday off, threw my entire week off, so I didn't get my post typed up in time.

Anyway, this week I'm sharing some of our Bride and Groom photos. Because there are SO many that I love, I'm breaking this post into two. I'm trying to figure out which picture will get featured on our Christmas cards this year; it's so hard to pick just one!

Road Trip to Utah

There's a lot to do in Las Vegas, but there's also things we don't have....like Texas Roadhouse! I took KC to Texas Roadhouse for the first time last year when we were in Arizona. He loved it! When we were in Indiana for our wedding in April, we took our Matron of Honor and Best Man to eat there one night.
When we got back home, I googled Texas Roadhouse and found that the closest one to Las Vegas was in St. George, Utah. This past weekend, we finally took a mini road trip up to Utah for dinner. It's about a two hour drive (each way) and the drive was SO beautiful. At one point, we were driving through mountain gorges/canyons. I wish we could have gotten good pictures of how gorgeous it was.
Anyway, Texas Roadhouse was totally worth the drive. Our server even gave us one of our appetizers for free since we came all the way from Vegas. After eating, we found a cute, little park to walk off our food before getting back into the car to drive home. It was the perfect day and we're looking forward to making more day trips like this one!

Oh Hey, Friday!

It's been awhile since I've done a Friday link up. Here's five things that have been happening around here:

ONE. We finally got new living room furniture! Everything matches and I feel like we have an adult living room now. I found the recliner couch at Big Lots and the coffee table and side tables came from IKEA (I love that store). I'm so in love with all of it.
TWO. KC has been on second shift for a month now. My evenings are super boring without him and I'm not liking having to wait until Saturday to really see him. However, he seems to like sleeping in in the mornings and I've been able to catch up on a lot of Netflix shows.

THREE. Our honeymoon is officially booked for October and now the countdown is on! Only 38 days until we're relaxing on the beaches of Cancun. We are in so much need of a vacation together. Especially since we aren't seeing much of each other lately. I'm so excited. This will be my first real trip to the beach.
FOUR. I'm going to Phoenix in about 3 weeks for work. I haven't been to the office since July 2015. I can't wait to see my boss and coworkers; it'll be nice. Plus, 3 nights in a hotel will be relaxing. And I'm looking forward to the complimentary breakfast every morning!

FIVE. I've been obsessed with my Happy Planner. I love, love, love it! It makes me feel like I have my life somewhat together. How have I lived the last 27 years of my life without a life planner?! (LOL) It also sparks the creativity part of my brain, which I am really liking.
